About the Role:
CrowdStrike’s Data Science team is expanding - we are at the exciting intersection of Machine Learning, Big Data, and Security and are looking to add a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with significant Rust experience to our growing team.
You’ll have the opportunity to implement our technologies as libraries and software development kits for internal/external customers and to jointly work with Machine Learning experts on creating predictive models on a diverse and multidisciplinary team.
You’ll have the chance to broaden your horizons by working jointly with a team of Big Data, Machine Learning, and Security domain experts on hard and impactful problems.
You will…
  • Be responsible for development of testing strategy
  • Write and execute test cases from user stories and specifications
  • Write automated test cases using Rust, Python and C++ to ensure quality of a new code and avoid regressions
  • Develop and enhance frameworks & tools for test automation
  • Contribute to process improvement and establish best practices for testing
You are…
  • Passionate about software quality and shipping quality code
  • An independent self-starter who likes to take ownership and independently seeks out new challenges
  • Always ready to learn and step outside of your comfort zone to blaze the trail for new technology
  • Proficient in Rust and familiarity with Python (we often wrap our Rust code) with bonus points for experience in C or C++
  • Working knowledge of black-box & white-box testing and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery systems
  • Working knowledge of Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Jira
  • Comfortable with Windows, macOS and Linux platforms
  • Knowledge of performance testing is a plus
  • Knowledge of fuzz testing is a plus
  • Knowledge of file formats like PE, ELF, Mach-O, MS Office, Zip, Packers is a plus
  • Familiar with agile software development methodologies
  • Familiar with software vulnerabilities and secure programming
  • Familiar with cloud computing platform(s) AWS/GCP/Azure
  • Interested in Machine Learning

CrowdStrike, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For applicants in Colorado the salary range is $145,000 - $230,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
